Biography | ![]() |
Ping Yu received her B.S. degree From Nankai University in 2004 and Ph.D. degree in physics from Fudan University in 2009. From 2009 to 2015, She worked as a postdoc in the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics and university of Regensburg in Germany. In February 2016, she joined the School of Physical Science and Technology of ShanghaiTech University as a tenure-track assistant professor、PI. |
Research Interests | ![]() |
Our research focuses on characterization and manipulation of the electronic and magnetic properties of graphene nanomaterials via on-surface synthesis method, by using low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) with atomic precision. We also have a particular interest in fabrication of designed nano-structures and manipulating its electronic properties by electrical field or photons on surfaces. |
